Transposing
Children's Paintings into CARPET
In March 2014, an exhibition of Children's paintings was presented in Beirut by Mme Hanan Houhou Hamdan,their teacher .
The plastic of these paintings lead Paul to constitute more than 24 combinations of a patchwork based oh each child's painting and in 2014, he decided to launch a Carpet based on this patchwork through a tight collaboration with Nivine Maktabi from Oumnia .
The detail and the complexity of the color was not obvious to realize the carpet . Nevertheless after more than 4 months, the first Carpet based on this patchwork was finished and presented to the children .
